Experience music through a prism of different art forms in an immersive on-stage chain reaction of creative expressions from one artistic discipline to another. Ottawa New Music Creators (ONMC) is thrilled to present Art Crush, an exciting and genre-defying interdisciplinary group featuring violinist Marc Djokic, visual artist Avery Zhao, and dancer Ariana Pirela Sánchez.

The performance will last for approximately 70 minutes, with a reception to follow in the Sky Lounge. Seating will be informal— feel free to explore the space from all angles during the performance.
Join us in person to learn observational sketching techniques from an educator at the Ottawa Art Gallery.
On October 28, we will draw faces on pumpkins and then sketch them within the public settings of the gallery. Materials will be provided and participants will be able to bring their pumpkins back home with them!
The workshop will be lead by OAG Learning and Engagement Assistant Alexia-Leana Kokozaki, a Canadian-Cypriot artist based in the Ottawa-Gatineau region.

Free kits provided. Each kit includes two fine point pens, sticker labels as well as laminating sheets. To get one, simply sign up below by October 22 and drop by the gallery the following week to pick it up!

Creative Sundays are back! Join us on Sunday, October 24th for a free family art activity. Discover the current exhibitions and get creative with a weaving workshop inspired by works from Greta Grip and Peter Owusu-Ansah. This activity encourages participants to bring together color and yarn to make weaved artworks that are dynamic and textured. All materials will be provided.
