DESCRIPTION:Picturesque Spots of the Rideau Canal \nJoin us every last Thursday of the month in the Studio to learn observational sketching techniques at Ottawa Art Gallery.  \nWe will walk along the Rideau Canal to find picturesque spots for us to sketch from. We will use acrylic inks to represent the beauty of water reflections and architectural landmarks in this urban sketching session. Learn how to use wet-on-wet and dry-brush techniques.   \nThe workshop will be led by OAG Educator Maria Gomez-Umaña\, a mixed media artist living in Ottawa whose artwork draws from experiences of becoming and belonging in a globalised world.  \nRegistration is required for this event\, see the Eventbrite link below.
