Join us online via Zoom on the last Thursday of each month to learn observational sketching techniques from an educator at the Ottawa Art Gallery.
On April 29th, we will draw melting objects, as inspired by Salvador Dalí. Dalí was a Spanish surrealist artist famous for his painting skill and his strange, dreamlike compositions. We will make reference to Max Dean's current installation at the Ottawa Art Gallery, Portrait of the Viewer as Artist, to underscore the role objects play in our imaginations.
The workshop will be lead by Alexia-Leana Kokozaki, a Canadian-Cypriot artist based in the Ottawa-Gatineau region.
