Visual Arts Copyright Presentation

Visual Arts Copyright Presentation

Saturday, December 8, 2018 - 11:00am to 12:00pm

Copyright Visual Arts is pleased to offer a special presentation developed by visual artists, for visual artists. It will cover the basics of copyright, a description of economic rights for visual artists (how we get paid) as well as moral rights (how we protect our work), tools to successfully license and negotiate the use of your work, and the benefits of joining a copyright collective. Artists are often paid copyright residuals, and the more they understand their rights, the better prepared they are in the marketplace. We aim to make the presentations available for free to artists at any stage of their career, so that all visual artists are aware of their rights and know where to go for more information as they advance in their careers.

Location: OAG Studio
