Gracia Tenorio-Pearl was born and raised in Mexico but has lived in Canada for over 20 years. She holds a bachelor’s degree in communication sciences from UPAEP in Mexico, a master’s degree in art history and curatorship, and another in international affairs from Carleton University. She is an adjunct professor at La Cité and Gratz College and a self-taught artist. She has written and illustrated children’s books, the latest about an Indigenous artist from Mexico.
