CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION
The painting depicts a bright, daytime rural scene. Trees and rocks are depicted on the foreground and suggests a small undergrowth within a field. They are painted with thick and heavy brushstrokes. Green and yellow leaves hang from one tree and hide part of the background. In the middle ground is a split fence, coming from the left, and slowly disappearing behind the trees. The background depicts a continuity of fields and land. On the horizon is a blurry blend of land and sky in beige, white and grey.
