Art Camps

Summer Camp 2024

Join us this summer to learn about art, the Ottawa Art Gallery, and its surroundings!

Kids aged 6 to 12 years old who like making art and getting their hands dirty will love our Summer Day Camp program, Art and About. Campers will enjoy a variety of hands-on indoor and outdoor activities, specialty workshops led by professional artists, and field trips around the downtown core. Further details about programming will be announced soon.

Cara Tierney – Performance art workshop

WEEK 7: August 19-23 (ages 6-8)
Jennifer Macklem and Faeze Maleki- Butterfly and moth wings building workshop

Camps Hours: 9 AM – 4 PM

For no additional fee, pre-care is available from 8:30-9 AM and post-care from 4 PM – 5 PM.

$325 per child
The price of registration includes pre and post-care.

Week Two: July 11. Other registration deadlines extended to two weeks prior to camp start date.

Cancelation Policy:

To receive a full refund, cancellation requests must be submitted by email to camps@oaggao.ca no less than two weeks prior to the start of the camp. No refunds will be given past this two-week deadline unless the camp week must be cancelled due public health recommendations.

Join us in March for a week-long creative March Break camp at the Ottawa Art Gallery. Kids ages 8 to 12 will explore the Gallery and directly engage with current exhibitions at this fun, friendly and bilingual day camp.  

Each day, campers will learn about artists of the region by taking part in interactive tours while unleashing their creativity in exciting workshops lead by enthusiastic programming educators.

OAG is Open from 10 AM to 6 PM Tuesday, Wednesday and Sunday | from 10 AM to 9 PM on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Admission is always FREE. Register for Summer Art Camps!
