CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION
[Recto] A sketch depicts a coastal scene in which rolling hills in the foreground surround a small bay. Two boats are moored along the shore and logs are in the water. There are a few small buildings by the shore. There is an island beyond the bay, on the left, which is mirrored in the water.[Verso] An undulating landscape of hills surrounds a body of water in the middle ground of the image. A tree trunk(?) is roughly sketched in the centre of the picture. Notations are made in various elements of the sketch and along the bottom of the page.
