CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION
[Recto] A close-up sketch of a town with a church spire seen in the distance, above the rooftops, on the left. There are a couple of figures and a horse (animal) at the centre of the image. There is free space with vegetation in the foreground, and the side of a building on the right side that fills the frame.[Verso] A loose sketch depicts a town along the middle ground with a road winding through it and mountains in the distance. A rustic log fence runs across the foreground.
