Weekly art and wellness workshops for mental health
Join us on Zoom for a creative workshop with Gallery Educator Abigail Kashul. The workshops aim to foster holistic wellness by providing multidisciplinary creative exploration in an open and supportive environment.
From January to May, we’ll be working with paint, colour mixing, and 3D collage to create shadow box artworks in preparation for our exhibition Sky Garden in May for Mental Health Awareness Month.
We are pleased to offer limited spaces to the public to participate in our Creative Space Online program. Subsidized art kits containing the required materials for the program are available in-person at the OAG shop during regular open hours for $35 until March 3.
Registration is now closed. The next session will begin on June 21. Registration opens May 10.
Since 2015, the OAG has partnered with the The Royal Mental Health Centre on Creative Space, a program that encourages mental health and social inclusion through weekly drop-in art-making workshops.
