Artist Bio: Farouk Kaspaules is an Iraqi-born Canadian artist of Assyrian origin noted for his engravings and silk-screen photography. He mixes traditional Arabic iconography with modern symbols to produce works that reflect themes of exile, cultural displacement and related social issues.
