Show Ready: Exploring Painting and Drawing
Artawa is a community organization that bring local artists together to collaborate, learn, create, and be social in a supportive, motivating environment. “Show Ready” is a series of free workshops that will help both the hobbyist and aspiring professional to get their work show ready. Everything will be covered, from getting ideas together to participate in a themed exhibition, hands-on workshops for trying different media, and best practices when preparing works for exhibiting, as well as pricing, budgeting and marketing. This session will explore painting and drawing.

The wearing of masks during this event is not mandatory, but it is encouraged.
OAG offers subsidized creative workshops and other programming for community groups across the Ottawa-Gatineau region, in addition to building community partnerships and projects that enrich and engage the lives of our community members. Our In-Reach program gives community groups access to our Studio space to host their own events and workshops.
