Exuberant Land Produce
Join us every last Thursday of the month in the Studio to learn observational sketching techniques at the Ottawa Art Gallery.
In this session we will draw a still life based on fresh produce from the season: squash, corn, apples, baskets, and fabrics will be on display for an exuberant composition. Participants will use oil pastels to design and render their creations on large mixed media paper.
The workshop will be led by OAG Educator Maria Gomez-Umaña, a mixed media artist living in Ottawa and whose artwork draws from experiences of becoming and belonging in a globalised world.
Spots are available on a first come first served basis. Art materials will be provided.
