The Conversation will be a unique gathering for people from diverse walks of life. It will be a great opportunity after the Pandemic to get together and explore how we connect with or disconnect from others who are different from us. How do we work in tandem with others? How do we listen and discuss respectfully in order to collaborate on a project? In our polarized world, how do we respond to extreme positions nudging against each other?
The Conversation will be an opportunity for participants to share, create, play and connect. Different activities led by facilitator, poet and visual artist Nadia Chaney will guide the group to create a sense of trust to create community. Nadia will use wisdom and humour to draw a path for the day to evolve. Visual artist Marisa Gallemit will share aspects of her path in art making. Hopefully, it will motivate collaboration projects and a sense of curiosity in others.
