L. L. FitzGerald
What do you see in the meandering lines and varied stippling of L.L. FitzGerald’s Abstraction? Spending the majority of his life in Manitoba, Leonard LeMoine FitzGerald was the only member of the Group of Seven based in western Canada, and he drew inspiration from his surroundings and the prairies. While his works provided a fresh perspective on the Canadian landscape, his style became increasingly more abstract in the later years of his life.
