Loose and thick brushstrokes of paint are used in this semi-abstract landscape of boats on a beach. The sky in the upper half of the image is painted green, there is a sandy brown beach along the left side of the image and boats painted in black, green and red, with some yellow, purple and blue sit at the centre of the image. The colours are reflected in the foreground on the ground.
