CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION
(recto) Six tall, thin pines stand in front of a group of log cabins by a lake shore. The pines are in the foreground and fill the frame of the image. Rolling mountains are seen on the opposite shore of the lake in the background. A few notations are made in the sketch. (verso) A sketch depicts a cluster of wooden buildings, and two tall stacks on the left. A winding road leads toward them and barrels are scattered about the buildings. A rolling mountainside runs across the background and around the buildings on the right side of the picture.
