CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION
A summer landscape depicts bathers drying off in the foreground, a lake in the mid-ground and mountains on the shore in the background. There is a dock on the right side with two women standing on it, a rock in the centre of the foreground with a woman standing on it, and a grassy patch of land on the left side with a man standing and a seated woman. All of the standing figures are drying themselves with white towels. There are trees and a strip of beach along the lakeshore on the left side of the painting. The sketch is in grey/black with a yellow sky and yellow lake surface.
