CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION
A drawing depicts the interior of a classical building with a large arched doorway leading out to a balcony and a small, circular window in the upper left area of the room. To the left of the doorway, a white robed figure stands at the centre of the room, with an audience of figures seated behind him and an armed guard standing in the background. In the foreground in the lower right hand area of the image, a person's head is sketched in profile. The interior of the room is painted in with an ink wash.
