CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION
Heavy brushstrokes depict a landscape with a scarecrow in the foreground on the left and a house (building) on the right with a person in a blue shirt and pants standing in front of it with his back to the viewer. The house is painted in black, with a pattern drawn into the paint. The roof is rust and grey and there is a small rust framed window in the upper right. The sky in the background is deep blue and the fields surrounding the house are a mix yellow, ochre, green and brown, with a strip of red along the horizon in the background.
