CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION
A mixed media sculpture of a blue curved form wave (resembling the hull of a ship) with a small boat on top attached by coloured cords. On the boat is a portrait of a ship surrounded with branches of vegetation. The piece was part of Wyse’s retrospective exhibition in 2011 at the OAG, Wyse Works: Exposing the Inevitable. The work reflects Wyse’s exploration of formalism, with references to folk art and his political critic of ships and seafaring impact on the environment.

OAG is Open from 10 AM to 6 PM Tuesday, Wednesday and Sunday | from 10 AM to 9 PM on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Shop Online!
