CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION
A mixed media image that features a black and white print in the upper half of the image, with a smear of rose/taupe colour painted diagonally across it. The image in the background appears to be a mound of mud on a slatted (wooden) surface. A thin rectangular border is offset from the image. In the lower half, large text is printed in evenly spaced lines across the image, reading: "gesture: the condensation of synthesized habit and experience objectified and made visible in handwriting / signature". Beneath the text, the same words are written in graphite in exaggerated cursive handwriting.
