CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION
A large-scale oil painting of an imagined urban scene that is created though the fusion of various architectural elements and objects with strong geometric shapes. The central feature is a tall crimson/purple hued scaffold that rises to support a large flat grey panel in the upper portion of the painting. A large bird is perched on a rod extending from the scaffold to the left. A variety of rectangular objects are stacked up around the scaffold in the foreground, painted mainly in pink, purple and red tones. More objects and larger structures are painted in cooler colours in the background on the left side of the image. The sky is filled with a flat haze of muted blue and mauve.

OAG is Open from 10 AM to 6 PM Tuesday, Wednesday and Sunday | from 10 AM to 9 PM on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Admission is FREE. Register for Summer Art Camps!
