This full bilingual exhibition catalogue accompanies the solo retrospective of the work of the important Canadian artist Alma Duncan (1917-2004) held at the OAG in 2014. Containing over 70 colour illustrations, the catalogue features original texts and reflections on a range of Duncan’s work from her 60-year career, and includes stunning self-portraits, portraits of well-known Canadians including P.K. Page and Norman MacLaren, little-before seen "dot" drawings, ink on paper landscapes and abstractions, and a selection of her acclaimed drawings of wartime industry and munitions factories.
