Contrarieties & Counterpoints: Melanie Authier

Texts by Sarah Milroy, Sky Goodden, Ola Wlusek, Robert Enwright, and Michelle Gewurtz

This bilingual exhibition catalogue accompanies Contrarieties & Counterpoints: Melanie Authier, an exhibition that explores Authier’s relationship to painterly traditions. With full colour reproductions and a two page foldout, this publication features original essays that explore Authier’s paintings and works on paper, while an interview with the artist conducted by curator Robert Enright expands on Authier’s artistic practice, methodology, and the language of abstraction.
