This bilingual catalogue is a timely tribute to an internationally acclaimed artist who has lived and worked in the Ottawa region for many years. As an artist and teacher, Michael Schreier is a compelling presence in Ottawa’s visual art milieu. This catalogue was published in association with a solo exhibition of Schreier’s work which featured his meticulously-rendered photographs that offer us entry into bygone histories located in other places that continue to resonate within both our individual and collective memories.
