This catalogue documents the Ottawa Art Gallery’s acquisition of the Miriam and Hudson Sargeant Art Collection in 2013. This significant holding acquired over the years by Ottawa-based collectors Miriam and Hudson Sargeant, includes works by historical twentieth-century artists such as A.Y. Jackson and Marc-Aurèle de Foy Suzor-Coté, contemporary First Nations artists Norval Morrisseau and Jane-Ash Poitras, and Ottawans Joyce Frances Devlin and Bruce Garner, among others.
