For more than 20 years, the Ottawa Art Gallery (OAG) has welcomed attendees for the Give to Get Art Auction, bringing together a vibrant community of art lovers, collectors, and creatives for the art event of the year. This annual fundraiser not only champions the incredible talent of the Ottawa-Gatineau region but also fuels OAG’s public exhibitions, Permanent Collection, and dynamic array of community programs.
This signature event takes place on Thursday, May 29, 2025 in the Alma Duncan Salon on the level 3 of the OAG. Whether you’re a seasoned collector or a first-time bidder, you won’t want to miss this spectacular night!
Prepare to be immersed in exciting activations that will entertain and delight attendees throughout the evening, including live music, culinary delights, and art activities. Don’t miss out on the Every-Box-a-Winner raffle featuring an assortment of items from Canadian artisans, high-end jewellers, and local businesses.

Art Auction After Party at the OAG
After the bidding is done, keep the party going! New for 2025, join us at the Art Auction After Party presented by Dunrobin Distilleries for a night of music, drinks, and celebration at the Ottawa Art Gallery. Mingle with fellow art lovers, hit the dance floor, snack on late-night bites, and toast to an unforgettable evening.
Don’t miss the after-hours fun, all included in your Art Auction ticket! The After Party is on once bidding closes until 11 PM.

Exhibiting Artist Selection Process
The OAG carefully curates an artist invitation list for the Give to Get Art Auction, which includes artists who are currently working with the OAG (through our exhibitions, the OAG Shop/Galerie Annexe, and our public programs), as well as a variety of artists from across the region who are in varying stages of their career (emerging, mid-career and senior artists), and who represent a diverse range of mediums. The list is updated and rotated regularly for the sake of buyer interest and inclusivity, while also aiming to highlight the diversity of the region, in addition to featuring a selection of art at a wide range of price points. When reviewing the list each year, the OAG gathers input from staff, volunteers, members, and the artist representatives on our board of directors, who all work directly with the arts community.
