Amy Wallace, PhD, is Assistant Curator at the Ottawa Art Gallery. She specializes in art from the nineteenth century to the present, with a particular focus on the intersections of art and the environment. She has held fellowships at Winterthur Museum, Garden and Library and with the Terra Foundation for American Art. Her curatorial projects include Metamorphoses: Visions of Antiquity in the Modern Era (Art Gallery of Hamilton, September 2025–January 2026) and The Artist’s Dream: Works of French Symbolism (Art Gallery of Hamilton, February 2020–January 2021). She holds a PhD from the University of Toronto and has taught art history at the University of Toronto, University of Ottawa, and Carleton University.
