CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION A serigraph poster depicts a line illustration of a large crowd of nude figures marching towards their apocalyptic fate in the form of a tree on the left, with a figure hanged from a rope off the lowest tree branch. In the centre is the text of the title "UNDER THE TREE", next to a poem on the right. This illustration accompanies George Johnston's poem that protested against Capital Punishment in Canada.
