About the Role

Under the supervision of the Senior Enterprise Manager, Venue Support staff will be responsible for the successful implementation of events services and logistics offered for a variety of private OAG events. The position requires staff to have flexible schedules and the ability to work evenings/weekends/late night shifts. Some daytime shifts are also available. Successful candidates will be self-motivated and approach duties with a positive attitude.

Venue Support staff are responsible for:

  • Set up/take down of OAG furniture and equipment for events
  • Ensuring smooth running of event logistics from the venue perspective
  • Interacting with guests and clients and offering service in a professional and courteous manner


Requirements of the Position

Experience

  • 1-3 years working in an events setting Skills & Competencies
  • Superior customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a group setting
  • Self-motivated and reliable
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work on multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to work flexible and extended hours including evenings/weekends/late night shifts (3am)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to lift 50
  • Positive attitude
  • English fluency is essential (French is an asset)
