The festival of zine culture and independent arts, presented for the first time in Ottawa in conjunction with the Ottawa Art Gallery and SAW Video!

Join fellow zinesters, artists, and supporters at the Ottawa edition of Canada's biggest zine festival! We've got dozens of vendors, tons of cool events, kid-friendly activities and much more.

12pm - 6pm • Massive Zine Fair Marketplace! • Alma Duncan Salon at OAG

Over fifty exhibitors of zines, comics and works from the print underground displaying and selling their work!

12pm - 6pm • Global Zine Project • SAW Video Hallway Space

A hands-on exhibition. Zines, chapbooks and underground printed artifacts from around the world. Come explore underground scenes from Shanghai to Slovenia! (Contributions to the exhibit are still welcome.) 

12pm - 6pm • Ottawa Punk Zines of the 80s • OAG Skylounge

For one day only, we're showing off Julia Pine's incredible collection of Ottawa punk zines of the 80s and a few more special publications from the archives! 

12pm - 3pm • Drop-in All-Ages Zine Making Workshop • OAG Studio

Zine making for kids and adults! Make your own zine and bring copies home for your friends.

2pm - 3pm • Radical Zine Readings • SAW Video Knot Project Space

Zine makers from Ottawa and beyond read new work from across the zine spectrum, including Tender Tita, Bitter Melanin Zine, From The Root Zine, the Letter Ve and more!

3pm - 4pm • Workshop with Decolonize Your Art • SAW Video Knot Project Space

Join artist and facilitator RJ Jones of Decolonize Your Art for a community workshop bringing together zines and printmaking with political praxis.

4pm - 5pm • DIY Silk Screen Workshop • SAW Video HUB Space

Come and learn a basic silk-screening technique with local artist Cara Tierney and make your own personalized patch on recycled fabric. Fabric and materials supplied!
