Éric Mailloux’s multimedia artistic practice initiates forms of encounter that challenge our primary senses. Mailloux seeks to ensure that the materiality of objects placed in relation to, opposition to, and/or complementarity with one another can evoke what is fragile, chaotic, and ephemeral. His research is transdisciplinary and center themes related to the environment, the visible, the intangible, and the construction/deconstruction of all types of matter.
