Lose yourself in the endlessly changing reflections of Infinite Sunshine.
For this special version of Infinite Sunshine, presented by the OAG during the SoundScape festival from Aug 29 to Sept 24, Stec and Verreman have reworked the project into a live half hour performance. Divided into different chapters about our relationship to water and light, cameras and technology as well as landscape, aging and nostalgia, the work includes narration and live audio-visual improvisations. The performance is a dreamy technological encounter with water, sun and land.

Ryan Stec is an artist, designer, educator and producer working with texts, organizations and things, and is currently the Co-Director of the art and technology centre, Artengine and an Adjunct Professor in the Visual Arts Department at the University of Ottawa.
Lucas Verreman applies his expertise in acoustic, electrical and electronic sound research to audiovisual projects. As a creative resident at La Malterie in Lille, France, he has composed and created music since 2020 for more than twenty audiovisual works, including feature films, short movies, TV documentaries, immersive installations, and exhibitions.
