Lino-cut Prints
During this Sketchy Thursday we will make handmade cards using linoleum cut-outs. Participants will learn how to design and carve linoleum which will be used for printing on mixed media paper. These works can be used for holiday cards or can be framed as original art pieces.
The workshop will be led by OAG Educator Maria Gomez-Umaña, a mixed media artist living in Ottawa and whose artwork draws from experiences of becoming and belonging in a globalised world.
Art materials will be provided.
