It’s a Play with Clay Creative Sunday! Join Joanna Richardson and learn how to make a pinch pot animal. We’ll learn different handbuilding techniques like shaping and attaching clay and using texture to make your creatures come alive!
Joanna Richardson is an Ottawa-based potter who makes work rooted in thought and function. She works with stoneware, mixed media, and a fascination with the simple and mundane.
Joanna received her Bachelor of Honours in Cultural Studies from Trent University in 2015, and her diploma in Fine Craft Ceramics from the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design in 2018. She currently teaches wheel and handbuilding classes at Hintonburg Pottery.
