Firestone Reverb series: Featuring artist Don Kwan
Following our exciting announcement, enjoy a conversation between Alexandra Badzak, Catherine Sinclair (OAG Deputy Director, Chief Curator), Meghan Ho (OAG), and artist Don Kwan on depictions of landscapes, ideas of belonging, and the Firestone Collection of Canadian Art (FCCA).
Don Kwan’s exhibition Landscape, Loss, and Legacy, currently on view at the OAG, is part of the Firestone Reverb series, in which contemporary artists are invited to respond to the FCCA by putting new work into conversation with this well-known collection of historical art.
Schedule of Events:
- 2 PM Meet us in the Sky Lounge (level 3) and sample complementary tastings from local restaurant Hung Sum
- 2:30 PM Doors to Alma Duncan Salon (level 3) open. Theatre seating available on a first come first served basis.
- 2:45 PM Program begins, with a special announcement from OAG and the Ottawa Hospital followed by conversation with artist Don Kwan
