Today, on Giving Tuesday 2022, we’re grateful to be part of this global day of giving!

The Ottawa Art Gallery’s mission is to tell the story of our community’s evolution through art and to help create a positive vision for our city’s future. Giving Tuesday is a great way to further that mission, and on this special day, we’re asking for your help to support our exhibitions, acquisitions, research programs, partnerships, publications, and more!

Thanks to a generous anonymous donor, all donations will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to a total of $10,000 through the Ottawa Community Foundation’s Anonymous Fund, so please consider making a donation while every dollar will go twice as far.

2. …GROW our Creative Space community wellness programs, so more people can benefit from the healing power of art!
3. …CREATE arts education modules, offer subsidised school workshops, and conduct complimentary class tours for students of all ages to learn from and enjoy!
4. …ACQUIRE artwork that helps to preserve and celebrate the diverse stories of our region’s cultural history!
5. …SUPPORT local artists with mentorship and professional development opportunities through our programs, events, publications, research and exhibitions!
6. …DEVELOP engaging public programs for Youth, Families, Adults and Seniors, which connect and inspire people of all ages and backgrounds throughout the local community!
7. …PARTNER with other non-profit/charitable organizations such as OBAK, Capital Pride, Arts Court, Yet Keen Seniors Day Centre, Asinabka, the Canadian Film Institute, and many more!
