A two-part sketch depicts a quickly drawn study of a palm leaf at the top of the page and a coastal scene sketched in a square frame on the bottom of the page: a cloudy sky occupies the upper half of the image, a body of water lies along the middle ground and there are dunes topped with a few plants in the foreground.
