What's Black and White and Just a Little Cheesed Off? [Qu’est-ce qui est noir et blanc et juste un petit peu froissé ?]

Diane Woodward

Date de naissance 1958

Did you know that every zebra has a unique set of stripes? Drawn to the zebra's contrasting black and white patterning, regional artist Diane Woodward first began to depict these animals in her work in the 1980s. Based in Madoc, ON, Woodward has continued to paint these animals amidst a profusion of brightly coloured patterns throughout her career, as can be seen in this 2009 acrylic work, “What’s Black and White and Just a Little Cheesed Off?”
