A hand-tinted photo-etching presents a scene from the Melbourne Hall Gardens. Foreground presents a pound of water, surrounded by a walking path. Background presents greenery and tall trees and a wrought iron arbour, historically known as the Birdcage. The print presents toned down hues, creating a sort of enchanted, dreamy atmosphere.
