CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION
A road lined with buildings with terra cotta roofs leads from the foreground toward a monumental tower, which is the focus of the painting. Several figures walk along the road towards the tower. More buildings are visible in the distance. A cloudy grey sky fills the space around the tower.
