CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION
(recto) a sketch depicts a house at the centre of the image and an outbuilding to the left. There are two crosses erected in the pasture in front of the house: one on the left and one on the right, which casts a shadow on the ground. A small, rustic fence runs across the foreground. In the background is a hillside lined with fields and some trees. (verso) A town with several buildings and a church with a tall spire sit across the middle ground of this image. In the foreground is a large boulder on the left and a rustic fence behind that. Mountains sit in the distance. In the upper left corner of the page, there is a small study of a man in a horse-drawn sleigh.
