CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION
A bright painting of a lake shore with a point of land at the mid-ground populated with trees, most of which are bare but there is one at the centre with bright yellow foliage. The trees are reflected in the surface of the water in the foreground, and there are a few large, flat rocks surfacing in the water. On the opposite side of the point, a house (building) is situated to the right; only the roof is visible. A colourful array of overturned boats occupy the point of land in the left of the image. A distant shore is visible behind the point, below a blue sky with white clouds.
