CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION
A winter landscape featuring a bare tree in the right side of the painting with a trunk curved to the left and curled branches. The tree stands in a snow-covered field with large rocks and some frozen grass coming through the snow. In the distance, a rolling landscape in browns, blues and white is set under a sky filled with masses of clouds that build from right to left. A patch of blue sky occupies the upper right corner of the image.
