A landscape painted in soft earth tones depicts two conifer trees in the left foreground that fill the frame. There is a strip of land along the bottom of the image covered in straw-coloured grasses with patches of orange. A bare shrub sits on the right, with a rock behind it along the shore of a large body of water which occupies the middle ground. There are mountains covered in patches of snow in the background, below a warm, grey sky.
