CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION
A sketch study in ink of four pelicans (animal), in different positions on the page. Three are vertically stacked; the bottom bird sits with its head tucked behind its wing, the middle sits facing the right, and the top faces the left with its head folded in towards its breast. The fourth bird is in a vertical position, with its back to the viewer, on the left side of the page.
