CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION A coastal landscape with a rocky shore in the foreground and a body of water beyond. There is a large, low rock surrounded by water in the middle ground and mountains are visible on a distant shore on the right-hand side of the image. A blue sky is above, with a violet haze on the horizon. The painting is done mainly in blues and greys, with accents of rust, white and tan.
