CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION Thick strokes of blue and brown paint a picture of a channel of blue water along the centre of the painting, surrounded on both side and in the foreground by rocky cliffs. Only a small portion of the horizon is seen in the background, framed by rock faces. There is a bit of yellow/green vegetation on the rocks on the right-hand side.
