CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION Two sketches done in a rectangular frame are stacked vertically on the same page. The top sketch depicts a landscape with a dark tree at the centre; its canopy filling the upper portion of the image. Notations are made in elements of the sketch. On the bottom is a scene with a house in the background and a tree on the left and some shrubs on the right. The shadow of the tree is cast across the lawn in front of the house.
